Author Guidelines
Who Writes for The Wellness Journal
Articles are written by the Sensual Sanctuary Spa editorial team and reviewed by named expert reviewers with relevant professional experience in massage therapy, spa and wellness, or related health and sports disciplines. We do not publish unsigned articles, and every article lists both its author and its reviewer.
Voice and Tone
We write in clear, accessible English for a general audience. The tone is calm, knowledgeable and honest. We avoid hype, pressure and promotional language. Where a treatment has limitations or risks, we state them plainly.
Structure
Each article opens with a clear summary, uses descriptive headings, includes a table of contents, answers common questions in an FAQ section, and closes with a medical disclaimer. Longer guides are organised into sections so readers can scan and navigate easily.
Sourcing and Claims
Wellness and health claims are kept within widely accepted, evidence-informed practice. We avoid absolute claims ("cures", "guaranteed", "proven to") unless backed by clear evidence, and we distinguish established practice from emerging or contested ideas.
Originality
All content is original to The Wellness Journal. We do not republish syndicated or spun content. Articles are written for human readers first and optimised for search only insofar as it improves clarity and discoverability — never at the expense of usefulness.
Conflicts of Interest
Writers and reviewers disclose any material relationship to a business mentioned in an article. Where an article recommends an external spa, the basis for the recommendation is editorial and is explained within the article itself.
Submissions
The Wellness Journal does not currently accept unsolicited guest posts. Qualified practitioners interested in contributing should contact us through the Sensual Sanctuary Spa website to discuss scope and review requirements.
